Apatosaurus (up-ato-soar-uhs) (deceptive lizard) is a sauropod that lived in North America during the Late Jurassic period. It has different appearances in each of its Growth Stages, with the younger Apatosaurus growth stage differences being lighter in color than the Adult Apatosaurus. Apatosaurus is notorious for its combat use and capability.
Appearance[]
The in-game Apatosaurus has a light grey torso when it's an adult and dark grey when it is a juvenile. It also has small black spikes running down the bottom of its neck. Both versions have dots across their torso. But when it becomes older, it gains a line that has hot colors across its body from tail to the head which is colored black in both versions Most players didn't use the Apatosaurus until it was remodeled and buffed, now you can usually see two or three on a server.

The 2nd version of Apatosaurus. This model was added to DS on June 3rd, 2017, it received different appearances for each of its Growth Stages and got a change in its Stats, making it capable of killing powerful Dinosaurs such as the Megavore at the time.[1]

The in-game Apatosaurus V2 has a gray torso and tail with black stripes a lighter gray neck with yellow markings and a black and redhead. It also has small spikes running down the bottom of its neck. The Younger Apatosaurus has an entirely grey neck and stands on 2 legs, while also swinging its tail around in its animations.

The Classic Apatosaurus is a large, dark gray dinosaur with a long tail that starts thick but gradually thins out, a long neck, a short, stubby snout, short, thick legs with blunt claws, and small, beady black eyes.

The Forest Guardian Apatosaurus, also called the "Forest Guardian" or "Forest", is the 1st skin for the Apatosaurus.

The Forest Guardian is a pale mud-green Apatosaurus with giant leaves all over its back and lines of sharper leaves on the undersides of its neck and tail, along with some green spikes on its head and sides.

Apatosaurus Plush is more than the plush version of the Apatosaurus, it was released in celebration of Dinosaur Simulator's 1st Birthday. Plush Apatosaurus was re-released during Black Friday 2017. Apatosaurus Plush was the 1st Plush skin to be added in before the Plush Egg and its Skins were added to DS.

Apatosaurus Plush has a blocky but smooth model, it is gray with black eyes. On its back, ChickenEngineer is riding holding a wrench and a tablet where a picture is being looked at by the rider. Unlike the other 2 versions, it has an orange helmet and orange feet.
Classic Version V2[]
Classic Apatosaurus Plush V2 has a smooth model, ChickenEngineer's feet and helmet are yellow with the tablet having a Roblox Logo. The model of the rider is more round.
Classic Version[]
Classic Apatosaurus Plush is completely blocky but without a smooth model, with ChickenEngineer's Legs, Arms, and Head are very simple. Unlike the other versions, it is missing a tablet but still has the Wrench.

The Pitch Black Apatosaurus is the 4th skin for Apatosaurus. Pitch Black Apatosaurus was 1st released on Black Friday 2019 for 350,000 DNA, it then was rereleased on Black Friday 2020 at the same price and was made tradable after the event had ended.

It has a black body with multiple small black spikes under its neck, it has a very long line with colors stretching from yellow to purple. Nearby the start of its neck, it has pink lights with white eyes. Its neck has neon purple bumps in the front of the torso.

- It is the most expensive skin ever released in Dinosaur Simulator, surpassing even the Avinychus' price by 150,000.
- It is the second dinosaur to have a Pitch Black version.
