A dinosaur's class determines how its life should be played out.
Terrestrial Information
The terrestrial dinosaur class is a type of dinosaur along with Aerial class that is exclusive to the land. The terrestrials have an efficient running speed while using small amounts of stamina. Some examples of terrestrial dinosaurs include the Barosaurus, the Albino Terror, and the tiny Ornithomimus. Although there are exceptions such as the Spinosaurus, which can swim and hold its breath for around 240 seconds.
Pros
- Generally the Class with the highest amount of Health in the game.
- Generally deals the most amount of Damage in the game.
- The biggest dinosaurs in the game are in the Terrestrial Class.
Cons
- cannot fly or glide. (Except Kaiju Sauroposeidon)
- Large terrestrial dinosaurs have a slow speed on land.
- Has an extremely slow speed in the water, thus being prone to attack. (Except Semi-Aquatic)
- Can not stay submerged for a long time. (Except Semi-Aquatic)
- Food can sometimes be hard to find.
Aquatic Information
The Aquatic dinosaur class lives in the oceans, lakes, and rivers. They are unable to fly at all unless the player lags or glitches. So most of the time, they cannot fly like the Aerial dinosaurs. They significantly move at a slower speed on land (except Megalodon) and will dry out if beached or un-submerged too long. These creatures all have lots of oxygen, capable of swimming and moving through water without any decrease in their speed, making them very suitable for underwater survival. There is currently only a single aquatic herbivore, The Jack-o-Lantern Archelon. Some examples of aquatic creatures consist of the Mosasaurus and the Coelacanth, Kronosaurus Boyacensis, and Carcharocles Megalodon
Pros
- Has the most health, which can exceed every Terrestrial life (excluding Argentinosaurus)
- Deals the most Damage
- Has great Speed increase while underwater.
- Can easily find food in the vast oceans.
- In terms of survival/combat strategy, they can work as submarines.
- They are stealthy, meaning they can ambush you from all directions.
- When it floods, they get the advantage and go to flooded ground for hunting purposes.
Cons
- They are unable to fly or glide. (Excluding Angelic Coelacanth, Draconus Elasmosaurus, Aurora Borethalass, and Kaiju Archelon which are Aerial/Aquatic)
- For one that can go on land; their Speed decreases (except the clam Megalodon, Angelic Coelacanth, Draconus Elasmosaurus, Aurora Borethalass and Kaiju Archelon can increase their speed by jumping and moving). Other creatures can normally escape aquatic creatures once they reach land.
- Can get beached if uncareful. (Excluding Angelic Coelacanth, Draconus Elasmosaurus, Aurora Borethalass and Kaiju Archelon which are Aerial/Aquatic and cannot be beached)
- Can be in low speed, making many enemies catch up to them
Aerial Information
The aerial dinosaur class is a type of dinosaur that has the ability to fly and glide; making survival very easy. Flying/Gliding and its flight/glide speed can be very useful in getting out of tight situations. Any aerial dinosaurs that try to swim will likely die easily in some way, excluding the Pteranodon which can swim for a short amount of time. The flying dinosaurs mostly consist of Pterosaurs like Quetzalcoatlus, the weak Balaur, and the new, expensive hybrid Avinychus.
Trivia
- All of them are carnivores except for the Decomposer Pteranodon which is a herbivore.
- Currently, all the pterosaurs in the game are Pterodactyloids, meaning that they have a short tail and a toothless beak, except the Istiodactylus. Rhamphorhynchoids, with a long tail and a toothy beak, have yet to be added, but there have been no models in the developers’ inventories or leaks yet.
Pros
- Can glide/fly.
- Because most aerial dinosaurs are carnivores food is extremely easy to find.
- Class with the fastest speed in the game, while flying/gliding.
Cons
- Has the least Health of the other classes. (Not counting Avinychus.)
- The Flying ability consumes lots of stamina. (Not counting Balaur or Avinychus, unless boosting. Boosting still drains energy.)
- Can easily die from bleeding. (Not counting Avinychus.)
- Can not easily find food as a baby in winter. (Not counting Pteranodon as it can find fish due to its semi-aquatic habitat.)
