Promo codes is a button that is used for redeeming codes that Chicken Engineer made, which is located near the bottom of the main menu screen. When redeeming a code the player is able to obtain various dinosaur skins which can be applied to their corresponding dinosaur. Fortunately, there will never be any codes for Albino Terror or Megavore because they are not skins, unlike other animals with a code which are only skins. There are no secret codes that unlock Developer Dinosaurs, as these are only for developers, hence the name. There also isn’t any unknown codes that the fandom hasn’t discovered yet because Chicken Engineer would have informed the followers on his Twitter.

Trivia
The Alien Irritator is the first skin in Dinosaur Simulator that can be obtained with a Badge. The badge was only obtainable during the Event, so the skin is now unobtainable and cannot be traded, thus making it subjectively one of the rarest skins.
A number of twitter codes have been the subject of ghost tokens, as there appears to be some sort of exploit to allow players to turn twitter code items into actual tradable items. These include, but not limited to: Yutashu, Twitter Ornithomimus, American Eagle Balaur, and Dodo. The exact method is unknown and more tokens seem to be popping up everyday. If you have any information regarding this issue, please contact one of the developers on the official Discord, or @ChickenEnginner on Twitter.
