Electric Pteranodon

Pterosaurs

Pterosaurus, known by players as "birds", are the pycnofibred, flying animals of Dinosaur Simulator. They are the only creatures in the game (besides the Kaiju Sauroposeidon) that can fly. In Dinosaur Simulator, Pterosaurs are represented by five carnivorous species, three small species and two large ones..

The current Pterosaurs in the game are (in order of release):

-Pteranodon

-Quetzalcoatlus

-Istiodactylus

-Thalassodromeus

-Hatzegopteryx

Trivia

The Hatzegopteryx is currently the most statistically strongest Pterosaur in the game; it can easilly kill a Kaiju Quetzalcoatlus. Despite that, Hatzegopteryx isn't that much stronger than a Quetzalcoatlus, only having 12 more damage than it and 60 more health.

The currently weakest Pterosaur in the game is the Thalassodromeus, with only 720 HP and 102 DMG as Elder it isn't a threat to any large animal though it can get annoying at times. It can take on very weak Babies so beware of these ankle biters.

Pteranodon is the first all class animal added to the game, it can walk on land, it swims well and it can fly.

Most Pterosaurs are normally used in scavenging because they are very vulnerable to damage, they normally fly around the map, eating Snacks and killed animals. Some like the Kaiju Quetzalcoatlus and Hatzegopteryx are used in attacking Babies and KOSing.

In Real Life

Pterosaurs were flying reptiles that dominated the skies since the Triassic to the Cretaceous, even slowing down the development of flying birds which at the end took over, ending the Pterosaurian dynasty of ruling the sky at the end of the Cretaceous. They unlike birds flew on elongated fingers with membrane stretched between their legs, fingers and tail. (W.I.P WORK IN PROGRESS)
