The Quetzalcoatlus is a large Azdarchid Pterosaur. This is currently the second-largest flying in-game creature, the largest being Kaiju Sauroposeidon. Many people prefer this dinosaur over the Pteranodon due to it being much more powerful and having a larger size. Players also buy this Pterosaur over Hatzegopteryx due to its distance from Hatzegopteryx.

The current quetzalcoatlus has a yellow-green body along with a black and grey crest, its jaws are also black and grey. Like the Hatzegopteryx, its eye is barely seen but it is colored dark brown, its wings are colored tan and the feet are grey.

The 1st version of Quetzalcoatlus and the 2nd Flying Creature were added to DS. After an unknown date, the Classic Quetzalcoatlus became a bugged skin, which made its movement slow and its spawning in one location. This was fixed in mid-2020, which allowed the Skin to move better/have its spawning fixed. Although it was fixed, it was reverted after the addition of the Halloween 2020 Event and is currently still bugged in movement.

The Kaiju Quetzalcoatlus has had a complex history.
Kaiju Quetzalcoatlus was a part of the Kaiju skin collection, being it was large and having the appearance of the Kaiju from Godzilla (2014), many wanted it, eventually, it was discovered to have a combat advantage and was used for various combat purposes. The Kaiju Quetzalcoatlus was feared by many players when it was released again in 2017 along with new roars, the player count had been growing a lot since 2015-2016, and the result was a larger number of Kaiju Quetzal owners, the Kaiju Quetzalcoatlus combat presence had increased because of this. In 2018, it received a remake in June and was not well received, for DS players at the time disliked the model being smaller/skinnier than the previous and the decrease in combat capabilities in the skin. After the 1st restats update, All Pterosaurs got stat changes, and Kaiju Quetzalcoatlus became better in combat as a result of this, being heavy-hitting (If used right) and agile yet weak. After the restats update was fixed up, its combat capabilities were not present anymore, the new Combat Additions did not help it either. It has been released every Black Friday and was on sale for the last time on Black Friday of 2020

The Fantasy Quetzalcoatlus is a dragon/wyvern skin for the Quetzalcoatlus. It was known for being a large skin in its 1st version, it was able to have a speed glitch until it was fixed. It received a remodel in Early 2018, being smaller than its previous version but having the same qualities.

Wyverns are cool. Quetzalcoatlus is kinda cool. No magic to transform a flying reptile into a Wyvern is not cool. That's why we spliced Quetzalcoatlus DNA along with Triceratops and Rajasaurus DNA. A few little splices of Dimorphodon can be seen as well. This can reach up to ½ times the size of a Giraffe, and its wingspan reaches 75 ft. across from tip to tip. At first, we thought we would create a Triceratops with Wings and a taste for blood, but we have the best structural engineers in the world so stay happy. - When it was first added in, the Fantasy Quetzalcoatlus had no flying animation and just "walked in the air". This was eventually fixed.
- The classic Fantasy Quetzalcoatlus used to have a speed glitch, which, combined with its big range, turned it into a deadly fighting machine. It was able to defeat a Barosaurus just by itself. The speed glitch soon got patched and the creature got a remodel, so it lost most of its popularity in combat.
- This skin is technically hybrid judging on servez_2build's comments about it. He also mentions it will try to "eat any white hybrid seen on sight", by which he means the Albino Terror.
- This skin has a glitch where when a sound key is pressed, its roar animation would loop unless another key is pressed or another animation plays.
- The head of Fantasy Quetzalcoatlus Remake is the same as the head from the Baby/Juvenile stages of Galactic Torvosaurus model, being the same but recolored.

It is dark green, with an underbelly, wings, and beak in a lighter color green. It has textured sand which gives it a bug-like look, as it is what it's based on. It has black long stick-like legs, six of which are based, and two smaller legs with small claws. Its tail is also a black stick like its legs. It has six yellow eyes and a red mouth. Its wings have small sharp points on the end.

A skin for the Quetzalcoatlus that came out on the 25th of November 2017 as part of the second wave of the Black Friday 2017 event. When the event ended, this skin became limited and became valuable due to its high cost of 
40000 at the time. However, it returned on Black Friday 2018 and didn't go off sale, it lost a majority of its demand/value due to that. This skin is still used due to its Appearance and large model.

It is completely black, with a skeleton body similar to that of the Fossil skins. Its wings are semi-transparent white, with black smoke that trails off its wings. It has an arrow-tipped tail with horns on its head and small claws on its wings. Its eyes and nostrils glow orange in color.
